About Uptown Coverband
Uptown Coverband is a professional cover band from the Rotterdam region, founded in 2020. We play at weddings, company parties, staff parties, anniversaries, and business events throughout the Netherlands: three vocalists, an experienced live band, and more than 200 performances.
A successful evening stands or falls with timing. That is why we tailor repertoire, energy, and set structure to the audience, the venue, and the program, and determine the evening's structure in advance: clear agreements and a single point of contact.
Who we are
Every party is different, and that is why Uptown Coverband plays in three formations.
The Coverband is the standard formation: seven musicians, the most booked lineup, for a complete party evening as cover band for weddings or cover band for corporate parties. Do you want something bigger? Uptown XL features nine musicians, with percussion and saxophone. Are you looking for something more subdued for the ceremony, drinks, or dinner? Then Uptown XS is the compact, acoustic lineup.
To make the evening complete, you expand the booking with a saxophonist, the Uptown DJ, or the light show. That works on a wedding just as good as on a company party, staff party or anniversary.

At Uptown Coverband, a good performance starts well before the first note. We discuss in advance what kind of party it is, what the program looks like, what kind of audience will be attending, and what atmosphere you have in mind. Based on that, we help with the musical content, the planning, and the practical execution.

Every venue sounds different. For parties of up to approximately 200 guests, we bring lighting and sound as standard; if the event is larger or technically more complex, we scale up.
