With three vocalists, our live band adapts to the evening, from a compact acoustic lineup to nine musicians with percussion and saxophone. The Uptown DJ can be booked separately.

Which band is right for your corporate event?
As a cover band for corporate events, Uptown adapts to every part of your schedule, from a conference programme or dinner to the evening party when it is time to fill the dance floor.
Our three lineups scale with your schedule: compact during the day and the full band in the evening. One provider and one familiar point of contact.
If we play at several points during the day, the extra hours are listed clearly as a separate item in the quote.
You can add a saxophonist or extra musicians to the lineup. The Uptown DJ and lighting show are also available separately.

Who will be on stage at your company party?
Uptown Coverband takes the stage with experienced professional musicians and three vocalists who seek interaction — with the audience and with each other. Do you choose Uptown XL? Then there are nine on stage, with driving percussion and a saxophonist whose solos rise above the band. That experience is in the structure: the energy follows what the event demands at that moment.

We contact the venue and the event coordinator in advance and align with what has already been arranged there. Is the technical equipment already in place? Then we work with that. If not, we bring our own lighting and sound, standard for up to approximately 200 guests.

Uptown Coverband provides live music for receptions, dinners, networking drinks, staff parties, anniversaries, and evening parties. We tailor the music, schedule, and setup to your location, program, and audience.
This is how booking works
- Submit application — fill in the contact form with your date and an approximate outline of the program.
- Response and brochure within 24 hours — you will be informed whether we are available and receive the brochure with a price indication.
- No-obligation option — if you wish to proceed, we will place an option on the date. If a second request for the same day comes in, you will have first choice.
- Confirmation and alignment — upon agreement, the booking agreement will follow. From that moment on, we take over coordination with the venue or event planner.

How much does a band for a company party cost?
The price depends on the date, location, playing time, chosen lineup, and any additions such as a saxophonist, the Uptown DJ, or the light show. Uptown Coverband therefore works with a personal price indication. Within 24 hours of your request, you will receive the brochure with this indication and be informed whether we are available.
How long does the band play at a company party?
The live sets are usually 3 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes, distributed throughout the evening program. The best distribution depends on the speeches, the dinner, and the other elements of your program. An extra set is possible in consultation.
Can you also play during the reception, drinks, or dinner?
Yes. With Uptown XS, we provide acoustic live music during the reception, drinks, a conference, or dinner. This group plays atmospherically in the background, allowing conversations and networking to continue. Later in the evening, De Coverband or Uptown XL takes over for the party.
Do you also play at staff parties or anniversaries?
Yes. Uptown Coverband regularly plays as a band for staff parties, anniversaries, and client events. The setup is the same as for a corporate party: we align with the existing program and tailor the lineup to the audience and the venue.
Can you tailor the music and repertoire to our audience and our company?
Yes. The repertoire ranges from soul and disco to pop, dance, Dutch hits, and our own medleys, and we choose what suits the audience at any given moment. Is there a theme, or a song that holds meaning for your organization? Please let us know in advance, and we will see if we can play it appropriately.
Can we expand the lineup with a saxophonist, or book the Uptown DJ as well?
Both are possible. A saxophonist or additional musicians play along with the band; Uptown XL includes a saxophonist and a percussionist as standard. The Uptown DJ stands alongside the performance and can be booked separately, just like the light show. Our own playlist continues playing before, between, and after the live sets; with the Uptown DJ, the energy remains high during those moments. Everything is handled through the same point of contact.
How does the coordination with our venue or event planner work?
After the booking, we will contact the venue or the event planner. We coordinate the setup times, performance times, and technical arrangements directly with them and align with the existing schedule. You will receive feedback on this, so that it is clear in advance what will happen on the evening.
Do you work with the technology that is already there, or do you bring your own?
Both options are possible. If lighting and sound are already present at the location, we connect to them and coordinate with the on-site technicians in advance. If nothing is available, we bring our own professional lighting and sound, which is standard for venues accommodating up to approximately 200 guests. For larger venues, outdoor locations, or special requests, we coordinate the production in advance.
Do you also play at outdoor locations?
Playing outdoors is possible, provided the location offers sufficient power and there is shelter for the equipment and the musicians. We discuss this with the venue in advance and coordinate the setup accordingly.
How far in advance is it best to book?
For popular dates, we recommend booking six to twelve months in advance. There is sometimes still availability at shorter notice, so always check.
