Standard two hours before start
We set up, do the sound check, and coordinate timings, routes, and program with the venue and the master of ceremonies.
The evening
There is music from the moment the doors open: before and between the live sets, our own playlists, curated around our repertoire, play. So there is no silence. We spread the live sets over a four-hour evening program. A banging opening, a walk-in set, the entrance of the bridal couple, or the first dance — we decide that together in advance.
After the last set
The live sets run until the end of the evening program. Afterwards, we wind down gradually, possibly with some background music, while the last guests depart.
For a standard evening program, we are on location for 7 hours, from setup to teardown. Music for the ceremony, drinks, or an extra dance set? That is possible with the same musicians and technical equipment, and a single point of contact for the entire day.
Extensions
- Saxophonist — solos soaring above the band, interaction with the guests, and a raw, gritty sound. Standard in Uptown XL, available to book with any other formation.
- Uptown DJ — takes over the music outside of the live sets: during the walk-ins, between sets, and after the show. No fixed playlist, but a DJ who reads the room and keeps the energy going.
- Light show — moving lights, effects, and spotlights that move to the music. The look and feel of a large production, without extra setup time, space, or crew — and therefore without the price that comes with it.

Fill out the contact form with your date, location, number of guests, and desired atmosphere. You will receive the brochure and a price indication within 24 hours.
2) Your date held without obligation
If you wish to proceed, we will place a no-obligation option on your wedding date. If a second request is received for that day, you will have first choice.
3) Custom quote
Based on your wishes, we will create a tailored proposal with suggestions for potential additions. Would you prefer to brainstorm first? Then we can schedule a short phone call or video call.

The price depends on your date, location, playing time, chosen lineup, and any additions such as the Uptown DJ, a saxophonist, or a light show. Therefore, Uptown Coverband works with a personal price estimate. You will receive the brochure with the price estimate within 24 hours and hear whether we are available.
Do you also play during the ceremony, drinks, dinner, or reception?
Yes. With Uptown XS, we provide atmospheric live music during quiet moments such as the ceremony, drinks, reception, or dinner. Afterwards, De Coverband or Uptown XL can take over the evening for the party. This way, you work with one trusted point of contact for the entire day.
Can we pass on an opening dance or song request?
Yes. Please let us know your opening dance or special song request in advance. We will see together if we can play it live to fit the occasion or incorporate it beautifully into the program in another way.
Can we book Uptown Coverband with DJ and sax?
Yes. Uptown Coverband can be expanded with the Uptown DJ and a saxophonist. The DJ provides the music outside the live sets — during the walk-ins, between sets, and after the show — ensuring the energy remains high all evening. The saxophonist plays solos above the band and interacts with the guests. In Uptown XL, he is included as standard, along with a percussionist.

Uptown Coverband is a professional live band and an all-round cover band. Couples also refer to us as a party band, a wedding band, or a wedding reception band. We play recognizable covers, medleys, and danceable live music for weddings. As a party band, we bring energy to the dance floor; as a wedding band, we tailor the music, schedule, and atmosphere to your special day.
How long does Uptown Coverband play at a wedding?
The live sets are usually 3 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes, tailored to your wishes and program. The sets are distributed throughout the four-hour evening program. An extra set is possible in consultation.
Are you bringing your own lighting and sound?
Yes. Uptown Coverband brings professional lighting and sound as standard for venues of up to approximately 200 guests. For larger venues, outdoor locations, or special technical requests, we coordinate the production with you and the venue in advance.
What exactly does the extensive light show entail?
By default, the band is atmospherically lit; this is included with every booking. The light show is an extension of this: moving lights, effects, and spotlights that move in time with the music, tailored to our repertoire. This creates the look and feel of a large production, without extra setup time, extra space, or extra crew.
How far in advance do we need to book?
Popular dates, especially in spring, summer, and autumn, are often booked well in advance. We recommend checking availability as early as possible, especially if you have a specific date or formation in mind.
Can we hold our wedding date without obligation?
Yes. If you wish to proceed after the price indication, we will place a no-obligation option on your wedding date. If a second request comes in for the same day, you will have first choice. The booking is only final after acceptance of the quote.

Our experience with weddings
Uptown Coverband has been playing at weddings throughout the Netherlands since 2020, with over 200 performances to date and a strong base in Rotterdam, South Holland, and the Randstad. We play at a wide variety of locations: from city weddings in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht, and The Hague to castle and estate weddings such as Woerden Castle, Oud Poelgeest Castle, and Groot Warnsborn Estate in Arnhem.
A wedding day requires more than a good repertoire. A tight schedule, varying acoustics, coordination with the master of ceremonies, building energy over a four-hour evening program — that requires experience. We have it.
